Whether you’re new to the area, a long-time resident, or just visiting, the Harleston Information Centre is here to connect you with everything our vibrant town has to offer.
Located in the heart of Harleston, the Centre is a welcoming space where you can find a wealth of information and friendly support. We provide up-to-date bus timetables, local maps, and details of nearby walks so you can get out and about with ease.
But we’re more than just a place to find directions — we’re a hub for community connection and wellbeing. Our team can point you towards a wide range of health and wellbeing services, local clubs and groups, and a full calendar of activities happening in and around the town. Whether you’re looking to join a social group, find support, take up a new hobby, or simply learn more about what’s going on locally, we’re here to help.
We also offer information on volunteering opportunities, local events, and services that support all ages and interests.

The Centre is also home to other groups who use our community meeting rooms:
- Local Town Councillors hold monthly surgeries on the third Saturday of each month
- District Councillors Trevor Graham and James Eddy, hold surgeries on the second and last Saturday of each month
- Norfolk County Councillor, Joseph Kerrison holds a monthly surgery on the first Saturday of each month
- Citizens Advice hold weekly appointments at the Centre every Wednesday from 10am-12pm
- Board Games group attend alternate Thursdays
- Susan Whymark hold a monthly Bereavement group
