The Harleston museum may vie for the smallest museum in the county. But what it lacks is size it makes up for in quality of displays.
There are changing themed displays of aspects of local history. There is always a section devoted to Harleston’s association with the Mayflower ship and Pilgrim Fathers
The Harleston Museum was opened in 1982 to provide a permanent home for the exhibits depicting local history. It is open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 10:00am until 12:00pm from May to September.
