On Saturday 8th July, Emmaus Norfolk and Waveney are standing in solidarity with survivors of the Turkey-Syria earthquakes and raising money to support families rebuilding their lives.
Join us in Ditchingham for a delicious Turkish Meze Picnic including an array of falafel, smoky chicken skewers, Turkish shepherd salad, kisir, flatbreads, baba ganoush, and more! Bring your picnic blankets and relax in our beautiful orchard.
Our Turkish Meze Picnic is available to pre-book only, please purchase a free ticket to reserve your picnic and collect & pay at our Old Orchard Cafe on the day! One ticket will reserve a picnic for two at £20.
A BBQ and Turkish cakes and snacks will also be available on the day. There’s something for everyone with live entertainment including belly dancing and an inspiring Q&A with Emmaus President, Terry Waite CBE. Families can also join in a children’s trail and play in our orchard play area!
All proceeds from our second-hand shop throughout the day will be donated to Emmaus Bosnia and the work they’re doing in Turkey and Syria – the more you shop, the more we can donate so get browsing!
