Harleston Bowls Club was established in 1919-20 in what is now, The Harleston Recreation Centre. We pride ourselves that we are one of the most relaxed and friendly outdoor bowls clubs in the county where the emphasis is definitely on enjoyment of the game.

We play in The Norfolk and Suffolk Border League and The South Norfolk League and hold a roll-up (practice session) on Tuesday afternoons at 2.00 p.m. where our members will be pleased to see you and give newcomers advice on how to play and provide bowls. We also have a number of Open Days throughout the season (which run between April and September).

So if you have ever seen a bowls match and wondered what it would be like to play, why not come along and try! You will be assured of a warm welcome whether you want to be competitive or just play for fun and you will be in good company.
