Harleston Museum open 10am-2pm
Schools will read the poem D-Day Heroes in school at 11am
National Fish and Chip Day celebrations – all encouraged to enjoy fish and chips at the Market Place and Recreation Ground. Schools will feature fish and chips on their lunch menus.
6:30 Church Bells to be rung “Ringing out for Peace”

9.00pm for 9:15 Town Council Chair reads ‘The International Tribute’ and lights the ‘Lamp of Peace’
9:30 Evening activities conclude, allowing participants to reflect on the significance of D-Day and pay their respects
