New Digital Skills Courses at HIP

Tuesdays | 10am–12pm

Looking to improve your digital skills and build your confidence using technology? We have a range of new courses starting at HIP, covering everything from Microsoft Word and Excel to online safety and AI.

You can enrol on all four courses or simply choose the course(s) you are most interested in.

Microsoft Word – 5 weeks

Learn useful skills including typing skills, formatting, layout, shortcuts, adding images and creating and using tables

Microsoft Excel – 5 weeks

Learn about cells, formatting, units, formulas and creating graphs

Online Safety – 4 weeks

Learn how to keep your accounts and devices safe, check whether your personal details are publicly available, handle having an account stolen, recognise phishing and spam and understand malware and other online risks

AI – 4 weeks

Explore what AI is, how to use AI for its intended purpose, how to recognise AI-generated advertisements and videos, how to spot potentially false information and the issues and potential risks of overusing AI

All courses are free and open to anyone aged 19 and over.
