Harleston
Now that Harleston Players’ “All Aboard!” – the play about the Waveney Valley Line – has finished at the big tent at Magpies hockey club, it’s time to get the Harleston’s Future playreadings going again at the Swan.
We’re kicking off on Friday, 7th August with the story of a group of youngsters, whose gentle sail on the River Orwell turns into something rather more challenging, testing all their skill and strength.
The Carvery doors open at 7.15pm and the reading begins at 7.30pm.
The Bar is open and there’s a donation pot in the Carvery if you would like to support these readings. Any moneys raised go to one of the Harleston’s Future projects such as the flags and bunting in the town, nesting boxes for swifts, and the Harleston and Waveney Festival day on the Rec on Monday, 31st August, 10am – 4pm.
See you at the Swan on 7th August.
